I’ll keep on moving/Things are bound to be improving
I’ve been having a hard time adjusting this week. Ulpan is ending soon and so I’ll have about a month off. I’ll be starting my internship soon, but I’ll also have a lot of free time. As I’ve been having trouble sleeping, my days have been sort of a blur. I’d be lying if I said that things were easy right now.
I’m addicted to the election back in the states. I’m spending many hours a day reading the news, blogs, rumors, watching youtube videos and talking with friends. We subscribed to the International Herald Tribune (the int’l version of the New York Times) for a month for only 24 shekles ($7).
I guess this is the point of going abroad - realizing that not everything in the world works exactly as you say it does. And realizing that I don’t actually know as much as I thought I did.
